    Rental One is looking for a part-time, summer Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Manager in Colleyville, TX.  This team member will primarily assist with customer stratification and development efforts, various brand management and related research tasks, and digital media projects.

    Hours: Tues-Fri, 8a-2p (includes 1 hr. lunch) OR 10a-4p (including 1 hr. lunch)

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilties:

     

    • Catalogue marketing images used for promotional purposes to provide ease of access to appropriate end-users
    • Project management of marketing plan tasks
    • Basic video production, editing, and branding
    • Customer surveying and research
    • Product or SaaS research related to marketing advancement
    • App development research and basic UX storyboarding
    • Acquisition and cataloguing of customer testimonials for marketing and promotional purposes
    • Research best-in-class business development opportunities specific to industry (SIC Codes, etc.)
    • Social media management (publishing, monitoring, etc.)

    Other Responsibilities:

     

    • Basic marketing "ecosystem" maintenance.  Will be introduced to HubSpot, passively participate in strategic discussions with Rental One's HubSpot consultant and build landing pages, email campaigns, and assist with CRM data segmentation
    • Advertising "samples book" development and evaluation
    • Co-op marketing opportunity analysis and planning
    • Sales support
    • Internal communications
    • Vendor and Agency relationship management or exposure
    • Special projects and other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Current University student enrolled in one of the following degree programs: (1) Marketing; (2) Arts/Science (MIS or ISY considered)
    • Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
    • Must be able to commute to Colleyville, Texas (76034) as this position does not offer a telecommuting option
    • Proven detail orientation
    • Proven business acumen
    • Proven technical acumen
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in a professional environment
    • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
    • Positive, service-oriented attitude 
    • Excellent reporting, dashboard creation, and organization skills
