    Rental One is looking for a full-time Technical Support Analyst to provide Technical Support services for Information Technology infrastructure and applications with a Customer Service approach to issue resolution. They will strive to identify a Root Cause of each issue and implement a complete Resolution when feasible, or a reasonable Workaround when not. They will follow detailed project plans for technology deployment and document and standardize repeatable procedures and support events.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical Support Assistance for IT Service Management Help Desk areas
    • Technical Support for Windows OS and desktop applications
    • Assist with on-call support for after-hours calls to Technical Support team
    • Assist with on-site Technology Deployment projects for devices and services at store locations
    • Desktop Hardware and Software Deployment and Upgrades
    • Technical Support for Computer Hardware, Printers, Copiers, and Accessories
    • Technical Support for Mobile Devices (iPhone, iPad, Cell Phone, other Tablets and Smartphones)
    • Technical Support for Anti-Malware and Web Security software
    • Technical Support for Windows Server and Active Directory basic tasks
    • Assist with Training for Windows, Desktop applications, and other technology
    • Technical Support assistance for Network Services (WAN/VPN, Firewall, etc.)
    • Work with Software Vendors and Support Tools to support Software Applications, including:
      • InTempo Enterprise (RentalMan) ERP and RMS
      • AM Digital and WordPress for R1Equip.com
      • BigCommerce platform for R1Supply.com sales
      • AirWatch Mobile Device Management (MDM)
      • Kaseya Essentials (Cloud ITSM)
      • QuickBase CRM and Project Management
      • Freshservice Service Management
      • Mimecast Email & Web Security
      • Asana Task Management
      • HubSpot Marketing Automation
      • TalentLMS Training Software
      • Jive Cloud Phone System and Yealink phones

     

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in Information Technology or other STEM area of study is highly preferred
    • 1-5 years’ experience as a Technical Support Analyst or similar role in an IT environment
    • Excellent problem-solving skills; High level of technical competency/proficiency
    • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills, especially with non-technical Users
